No, the cost of housing is so high I can't see it being good for low income people. They're going to want to try a cheaper city.

Don't come to Little Rock, Arkansas. There's so many homeless sleeping on the streets right across from me its making me sad living here and not being able to help get them off the streets.

Two grown men do not need to be rooting out cities to be homeless in. Find a city or town with the lowest unemployment rate and fair rents, be willing to work at any job/ shift (there are jobs for third shift stockers in warehouses, decent pay). Pick a place with that in mind, not a good place to be homeless.

Hoping this is a troll thread, but you never know.

I agree...my guess is TROLL
But in case it is not....shouldn't your first priority be a good place to find jobs? Not a good place to be homeless? In any case, San Diego fits neither.

Part of the problem with these troll threads is, people come in from other parts of this forums and feed them!

You know, I'm not sure if this a troll or not. But I can say with certainly there are probably a LOT of people in their situation that just come out to San Diego planning to be homeless. Most come out due to the great weather but I totally agree this isn't a good idea. I'd go where the job market and economy are very strong and unemployment is very low just as ShelbyGirl mentioned.

On a more positive note, places like Key West, FL and San Diego are far better to be homeless than Minneapolis or South Dakota in the winter. But saying all that, why not have some agenda or goal as far as where you want to move and go from there. Don't move on the basis of "i'm going to be homeless" though.

Troll or no, it wouldn't hurt to get feedback on this question from people in the area so those of us researching cities would be informed if the area is homeless-friendly or not.

Some cities have gotten tough, where the homeless were once tolerated, they are now kicked out and not allowed to loiter or sleep in parks, streets, etc. That is good information to have for anyone considering moving to an area.
