Speaking of heat + water. We went down to the new County water park and lunch at Eddie V's.

Wow!

It was packed and there were TONS of families and kids playing in the water. They also have some really neat slides and features at the park.

Definitely a nice and welcomed edition to the bay front there. Really livens up the old County Admin building. Cant wait for the ship terminal area and former Navy complex to really get going.

The Waterfront Park is great. I attended the grand opening yesterday and walked around. Local Wally needs to add it to his page!

Looks like this might be like the Santa Ana we had the week before last, or even worse. I'll take the May Gray over scorching Santa Anas.

I'm one who did not move back to San Diego for the weather. Ilike it cool and gloomy. Stereotypical Seattle without the rain.

But alas, should be an interesting week ahead, as has been said. At least we aren't in the IE.

Nah, no thanks because that tropical temperature in the water would undoubtedly turn us into Flahrida, with mosquitoes the size of hummingbirds and high humidity.
