We just had the driest winter on record and this is looking like spring and summer are going to be scorchers too.

It normally doesn't but this is a freak year we're having with almost no rain and the spring time temps higher than the usual hottest parts of summer.

I was just in Portland for 4 days. It poured most every day except the day I left. I had to walk about 50 yards from my car to a restaurant. I sprinted and still got absolutely drenched. Yea, have fun with that

We all hope it's freak weather and not a sign of things to come. I was having a conversation last night with somebody around the fact most people talk about climate change or global warming, but it's always never a concern so much as of right now, but way off into the future. At some point that future is now and this might be the way things are going to be. Lets hope not, but it wouldn't be a shocker.

I lived there for a few years. Its a great place if you love wet weather and water everywhere and not seeing the sun for weeks at a time. No thanks, 2 years was enough.

Yeah,I'm not sure if I could take the extended lack of sun,but sure would love the cooler temps. I hate excessive heat or cold. I want to move to the west coast to get out of the heat/humidity/cold/snow/ice,and monthly record-breaking weather here[for cold and hot,and dry and wet,you name it Ohio SUCKS every month except if we're lucky September through October is divine!

Think I need a summer place in Portland and winter in San Diego,LOL!

No, we had a decent amount of rain last year, and low summer temps well into July.

Yup, July was only in the 70sF for the most part. August and September were more normal summer weather, but then got really hot and and that lasted well into the fall.
