it has been so amazing outside lately!! temps in the 70s/80s at the coast and hardly any June gloom to speak of!! and the ocean is soo warm already for this time of year! its only June 3rd the sea temp at scripps pier is 71 degrees!! that usually doesn't happen til late summer, anyone know why its so nice?? I haven't even needed to use a wetsuit when im surfing for the past two weeks. I love it, its gonna be a great summer

Inland, the temps have been great as well. Sunday was a little warmer, but not warm enough to run the AC. It was a good day for watching a movie with the kids outside that day.

I suppose the first time I'm able to swim in the ocean is similar to how people get excited about the first day of snow in other parts of the country, but without the cold

definitely the high point of enduring the drought, fires and heat. I moved south to be closer to the warmer water, it never really warmed up enough in Ventura. I need to get in!!!!!!!!!
hopefully this weekend. might be a good time to do the kayaking/snorkelling thing at la jolla shores! (I have a groupon lol)
