What are people planning to use to pick up dog waste at places like Dog Beach, Fiesta Island, various trails, etc? I'm really planning on hoarding bags here for the next nine months if there isn't a cheap source to buy them.

You can buy bio- degradable poop bags on line ...Amazon usually has the best prices. I never used plastic grocery bags to begin with. Not a fan of my nails piercing a full bag. And of course, many public places provide poop bags.

I've never used plastic grocery bags except in an emergency. Ew. Too thin (!!!), too much bag to get poop all over, half of them have holes when you get home with your groceries already.... The smaller biodegradable bags work much better and they're very cheap.

Not having baggies for dog poop seems like a first world problem. Many parks already have dog bag dispensers. It seems like something that shouldn't be a big deal. The World isn't going to end because you can't use grocery bags for dog poop lol.

Have to agree here. Do people expect the Govt to provide diapers for their human offspring too? Oh wait, there are tax payer funded programs for that

Dog owners should be quite capable of taking care of their animals, I would hope.

People seem to forget that it was the liberals who encouraged plastic bags in the first place, to "save trees" and discourage paper bag use.

What does this have to do with liberals and non-liberals?

And many don't. I guarantee you, there will be more dog waste laying around once this goes through (unless all places start offering bags).

Every park or beach that's specifically designated as a leash-free area provides bags. I have a fuzzy corgi nephew buddy that I take out ALL the time, and everywhere I go everyone I see has those little black dog poo bags. I can't remember the last time I saw anyone using a grocery bag to clean up after their dog.

Look, I have a cat litterbox I need to clean, and I do use plastic grocery bags currently. I'm not going to just throw up my hands helplessly and go "oh no, I don't have grocery bags, guess I can't clean up after my pet now". I don't imagine dog owners will do the same.
