Orifices are more protected than a shaving nick or open wound.

We dump 120 million gallons of treated sewage into the Ocean per day. LJ area is now nasty year round with the Seals, Sea Lions and birds all congregating there.

Reading this thread, I keep thinking: I sure hope that the new desalination plant will take care of these buggers before the water is piped to our homes.

I went to the pool in my complex today but discovered it was closed due to not meeting safety standards lol. No idea when it would be opened but I could have used a swim today to cool off. I checked water temperatures and it seems like it is 67 degrees. When do you think it will get warmer than that?

My pool is 92. Sis's pool near PB is 88. Did they just fill it? My pool is 67 in the middle of the winter with the solar turned off and pump not running.

I'm not far from La Mesa and my pool was 86 today. It does cool off a little at night, but it's never at 67 in the summer. I wonder if the "maintenance" they're doing involved adding water to the pool, as that can quickly cool down the water, especially if they've added a lot of water.

I only see 80 with solar rings and I am jealous that you get it heated like that (solar). Then again, 92 is too hot for me.
