But Seriously here in San Diego we seem too have the craziest stuff happen.
The thing that always got me was, how could these people afford to rent a house in Rancho Santa Fe.

That dude's stare still gives me the creepers. These people were straight up kookooo. Ya, RSF is pricey. Probably conned all those poor people out of all their money.

Though tragic, I'm unsure if we need to mark this anniversary. There's also that one in Guyana.

True story: A few weeks before the suicide, I was walking on the beach at Torrey Pines and saw this weird looking group of people in black clothing following each other along the beach. There was one guy at the head of the line, and they kept stopping and looking at the sky. They weren't talking to each other, just following each other and stopping now and then.

They gave me major creeps.

When the story about the suicides broke and I saw the pictures of Applewhite and his followers, I realized they were the same group I'd seen on the beach.

Still gives me chills twenty years later.

Too soon as is said but at least they got a good beach day before they transported across the gate aboard the comet.
