Any recommendations for large appliance stores that are competitive in price and delivery with the national chains?

Because of COVID, it's my understanding that large appliances are in short supply.

Would CostCo be considered a "National Chain?"

If so, then you have access to a "CostCo Business Center" on Othello.

Pretty sure they deliver.

Yep, they do. But it also depends on the appliance that the OP wants. I bought a 5 cuft freezer, but ordered it from www.Build.com, because they're not carried in the stores.

I am looking to replace washer, dryer and kitchen appliances. Some of the local stores don't have as much of a polished online presence w/ prices and delivery options and dates. Curious if any of them are worth the extra effort to visit in person or pick up the phone.

Oh, I thought you were interested in only one single appliance. An "ensemble" is different.

I would say, try Pirch.

They have a showroom on La Jolla Village Dr.

With a whole house of appliances, you can haggle with them.

They deliver too.

If want something a little higher end - try Pacific Sales - they are in a lot of Best Buys but have a couple of stand alone stores in SD Area.
