Been getting mixed reviews. They've either been yay or stay away. Like a lot of apartments in the area directly around the park. One on Shattuck and 60th and the other on Racine directly across from the park. Be great to hear from you guys. Thanks so much.

Please no hijacking the thread.

Bushrod Park used to be bad. Really really bad. Then a few years ago an ordinary resident decided to take a stand, culminating in him shooting at (not killing) a 15 year old member of a gang that confronted him in front of his house. Since then it has been a very different place.

It's extremely bad. It may not be as bad as it used to be in the 90s, but just check the crime reports for the area. Full of armed assault MOD CUT.

Stay away.

Hey, Oakland Uptown, nice to see you have a new account.

If by trolling you mean "a factual account of an area in which one has personal experience", then yes, guilty as charged.

No part of Oakland is truly safe. I know, I lived next to Oakland for 7+ years. But it's common knowledge that the dangerous areas of Oakland include Bushrod Park, Golden Gate Park, 62nd st., Gaskill, ect. This is common knowledge.

In the end, "stay away from Oakland", is just good advice.

Oakland who? New Account? Are you drunk?

I've seen your posts in every Oakland topic, everything you post screams troll. No part of Oakland is truly safe is a clear sign of this. If you really lived next to Oakland you would not post such BS.

Golden Gate Park in Oakland? Yeah you never lived near Oakland or the Bay Area for that matter to get the two cities confused. LOL

I meant Golden Gate neighborhood, near San Pablo. Anyone who has lived in Oakland would've known that.

You said Golden Gate Park not the tiny Golden Gate District of Oakland that is so small nobody even thinks about it has crime infested area. It's a tiny part of North Oakland. Nice try troll.

Nobody thinks about it? It's one of the most crime infested places in Oakland. Why are you trying to mislead people about Oakland?
