Ok, I know I have said that you wouldn't catch me at the Coliseum until there is something shiny and new there with better food, but I have changed my tune. I think I am headed to the Coliseum in July.

Get there early! By early I mean at least an hour before game time - at least.

I'm pretty minimalist in my possessions so I didn't mind, but the Matsui t-shirt giveaway on April 3rd - they were all gone about 45 minutes before game time.

It's a shame that people only show up to A's games when the team is giving something away. I've seen Jersey give aways where people get the Jersey, turn around, and go right back to bart.

Its so funny because you would figure with the hot young pitching that people would want to seee an A's game before the young arms hurt themselves. There is a reason bradons perfect game happened on mothers day, he was still fresh .

Well I am an equal opportunity non-baseball fan. I make it to 1-2 games a year when someone wants a group outing. A giveaway or the right set of friends + tailgating will prod me into going. A's or Giants make no difference although I am 20% more likely to go if it is Giants. Otherwise I abstain. I am not even as good as a fair-weather fan. :P
