B. Sure, but they die anyways. Just because something dies in a few years doesn't mean you should treat it poorly or just get rid of it when it becomes inconvenient.

I guess I'm just having a lot of trouble trying to figure out what your original comment was supposed to mean.

I didn't know that San Francisco apartments came furnished with cat; much less four of them.

The ones that are furnished with cats are called "alleys". They are relatively cheap.
