Throwing money at criminals isn't going to make them become respectful contributing members of society, sorry. Most criminals come from poverty because of bad parenting. I don't know many people that earn 150k smoking weed with their 6 year old sitting 5 feet from them, but I do know people on welfare doing it. I don't see many people driving in a new Mercedes blasting songs where every other word is f*** with their 3 year olds in the car, but I have seen it many times in old rinky dink cars.

You clearly aren't from the Bay Area. As much as you may be surprised by the concept of wealthy people listening to some of the same music and indulging in some of the same habits as poor people (gasp) a lot of them do.

And most criminals come from poverty "because of bad parenting"? I'm hoping what you meant to write was "most who become criminals were badly parented" and not what you actually wrote rofl.

You don't understand...

Many wealthy people listen to vulgar music, but they are less likely to listen to it in front of their young kids. They try to control their swearing around their young kids. They don't blast their music to a volume that is damaging to their baby's ears. They don't smoke when they are pregnant. Many wealthy people smoke weed, but they try to hide it from their kids. Do you not understand the difference?

Bad parenting is especially strong in poverty stricken areas. A combination of living in poverty and having bad parenting can lead to criminal behavior. I know many people who were raised in poverty, but grew up to be wonderful people and it's mainly because their parents raised them right. So I meant what I wrote. Yes, there are still bad parents in wealthy areas, but to a much smaller percentage as those in poverty stricken areas. It's reality and I'm not going to sugar coat it with political correctness.
