Same sentiment over on the Oakland boards re: their town, which would be at least as appropriate, and probably more so.

Wow, thank you everyone for contributing! It's nice to see a bunch of contributions after disappearing from this forum for several months. I promise to have more pictures up soon after I finish with my busy academic life. (That crap sucks)

I'm still in LA but I found these in my old albums from about three years ago. Sorry for the quality! I didn't have a DSLR this time.

This was a panoramic experiment I stitched together in Photoshop from the downtown SJSU library, and is the only picture that's not directly off the camera. /pride

More pics. Does anyone have pictures of OUTSIDE downtown? I love it too much to venture out. lol

& here's a quick snapshot (vs photo, as I like to differentiate between the two) of the skyline along Hedding. Dumb mistake. Should've stood over the railroad tracks as the shrubbery is blocking some of the view.

Default pictures outside of downtown

Eastside of Silicon Valley, on a hazy, warm, sunny October day. You can make out downtown in the haze.

Wow, love this site. I've lived in the Bay Area and really didn't make it to San Jose very much at all - obviously my loss.
Great Pictures!

I hate to sound like an old person, but even I remember when that was just a winery and open fields. I like the town square concept, though. It really works there.

I miss the winery! I wish it could have coexisted with the town square. Alas, can't have it all.
