*L* yea... but it's Bakersfield. There's a reason Fresno and Bakersfield are called the armpits of california.

At least its safer to live in Fresno than San Francisco.

San Francisco (population about 800,000) 98 homicides so far this year
Fresno (pop about 485,000) 37 homicides so far this year

But seriously, I just spoke with someone this morning who was commenting about recently moving to Fresno from the midwest. They are very happy to live with no snow to deal with in winter and no summer humidity.

wanted to know.. what is best way (bus/train) commute available from paso to san jose. I have a job in san jose and wanted to live in paso.

Paso Robles is an over 2-hour drive to San Jose. I wouldn't suggest attempting that commute on a regular basis.

High-speed rail. But you'll have to wait a while for it to get built. Helicopter would do just fine til then.
