A good friend of mine is going to be in Santa Fe for a few days and we would like to visit with her. We live in Tucson AZ and are planning to drive there and stay a few nights at a Marriott or someplace like that.

MY questions are twofold. Since the drive is 8 hours from Tucson we would like suggestions on where to stop to eat along the way as well as where to stay once we get there. My friend is staying at a place called Fort Marcy Hotel.

Ideas please.
