I was researching this the other night and got side tracked. I know there's a company in Sarasota and I think their name is Jeanette Properties and they specialize in rentals on the keys. For some reason I couldn't come up with a website. Does anyone know who I'm talking about?
Most of the rentals on the keys are day or weekly rentals because they can make more money catering to the tourists. Right now is actually a good bet on picking up an annual because most of the tourists have gone home and some landlords might be looking for some extra income.

Just saw your post. Have you found a rental yet? I am currently in a one bedroom annual rental on the Key...very nice place, but I need a 2 bedroom. Post here if you are interested in more information regarding my rental. Great amenities!
