I'm moving to Sarasota in the mid-fall and have a need that you may be able to help me solve: After 4 short visits, I'm having a hard time knowing where to buy a house and am learning that I need to rent in order get familliar with neighborhoods. Problem- I may find it quickly and have 2 dogs, which makes it hard to find a place to rent short term. My thoughts- do any of you know of someone with a room/home to rent for maybe a month or so?

Try an extended stay hotel like a residence inn or something that allows pets and deal with it for a month maybe?

Check out Beneva Place near Clark. They are managed by Equities Residentual, a national company. I believe they can offer a month to month (at least up North they do), they are pet friendly. I believe their email is
