I don't even go to that area of bars at Gulf Gate.

It's gross. It is an Americanized food nightmare of overpriced flavors from around the world.

People will go to Gulf Gate to casually eat cupcakes, then get a slice of pizza, then swing by a bar for beer, and a shot, then smoke a hookha, eat ice cream, chase it down with energy drinks, take in live music, and then munch on French fries.

Wow. Have fun consuming all those carbs and sugars and being fat and unhealthy and dumb.

And there's no such thing as "paleo cupcakes". There is something about Sarasota that makes me wonder why such a huge percentage of people here lack any sense of intelligence.

Something tells me the huge percentage of the people arent the problem, but those that think they are, are those much less intelligent and hung up on trivial matters. Food for thought.

People see things not as they are, but a reflection of what THEY are.

Ben, you are right on the money, as always..

Smart phones are not called smart based on the user......it is because of the technology (hence the term). Which I am sure you understand but still feel the need to insult a population on non-users.

As far as killing trees, unless you are completely paperless in all of your day to day operations then you have no room to talk.

You know what's frustrating is that I think you actually have some valuable knowledge to impart but you just can't do it with any tact. Why the arrogance and attitude of superiority? I wonder if you are this rude in person?

Well I don't wonder what you're like in person. I do have valuable knowledge to impart here. It's so valuable, in fact, that I have been plagiarized several times by a member or members of this forum. That's why I'm here.

To each its own!

I love Gulf Gate and this is one of the reasons we bought there! There is something there for everyone even for our pet Ms. Sophia

You're sounding like a prominent presidential candidate- "my knowledge is so valuable it will make your head spin."

If I was to get a tattoo, it would probably say Gulf Gate in a heart. I'm not sure how my wife would feel about that but I do love GG!

We ate at 3 restaurants in Gulf Gate when we stayed at Siesta Key last month and they were all very good - Word of Mouth, Off the Hook and Veg. Would go back to any of them next time we are down.
