Hope you all have a great weekend, here is my list of fun things I've found that are going on in the Sarasota - Bradenton - Venice area:
FRIDAY
Friday Night Free Music -- Venice's Centennial Park at the gazebo, bring lawn chairs, 7 - 9 pm.
Holly Days & Mangrove Lights at historic Spanish Point starts tonight, runs every Thursday & Friday evening (until 8 pm) thru the end of December -- Lighted gardens, holiday music.

SATURDAY
Sarasota Farmers Market -- downtown at Lemon & Main, 7 am - 1 pm.
Central Sarasota Farmers Market -- corner Proctor & Beneva, 8 am - 1 pm.
Bradenton Farmers Market -- old Main Street in downtown Bradenton, 8 am - 2 pm.
Venice Holiday Parade -- everything you would expect from an old fashioned, home town parade, i.e. floats, marching bands, etc. Great event if you've never been but go early, parking is an issue. Parade starts at 7 pm on Park Blvd and travels thru downtown Venice to the Venice Community Center (see website for details). Venice Holiday Parade
Light Up Siesta Key Village Parade -- Siesta Key kicks off the holiday season with a parade followed by arrival of Santa, 5:30 - 10 pm, parade starts at 6 pm.
Snow Crab Festival -- Witaker Gateway Park, 1401 N. Tamiami Trail in Sarasota, 12 - 7 pm.
Fall Family Fishing Tournament -- at the Venice Pier, 8 - 11 am.

Solutionary Health Festival -- at Oscar Scherer State Park, Osprey, 11 am - 5 pm, $2 park admission. Speakers health food, health vendors, live music, yoga.
WSLR Cigar Box Festival -- celebrating cigar box guitars, doors open at 2:30 pm, dinner at 5, music starts at 6 pm. $20/person. Fogartyville Community Center, 525 Kumquat Ct, Sarasota.
SUNDAY
Bridge Street Market --great farmers market option on Anna Maria Island, 10 am - 3 pm
Siesta Key Farmers Market -- Siesta Village Plaza, 8 am - 2 pm
Siesta Key Drum Circle -- just before sunset at Siesta Key public beach, everyone welcome.
Ski-A-Rees Ski Show -- 2 pm at 1602 Ken Thompson Parkway (behind Mote Marine).
Last day of the Orchid Show at Selby Gardens -- Selby Gardens open 10 am - 5 pm.
