i highly recommend at least one of you has a job lined up before arriving. the job market here is terrible. moved here from chicago 1.5 years ago, and still struggling. (also married, mid-30s, no kids). seriously considering moving back north. i made the mistake of not researching things nearly enough before coming. making way less than i did in chi, and everything is so expensive here.
however, if you do come, you should check out Parkridge Condos. My hubby & i just moved there and we love it. nice, friendly neighbors, and a great pub next door!
