Thanks for that angelfish and atroxanautin. We actually stayed in Celebration for a short time, and Liz was in Orlando Regional.

Sometimes its hard to define just why a place doesn't 'feel' right to you, while others just do. That's the difference between Orlando and the general Sarasota area to us.

Liz has the possibility of taking up a lecturing position early next year (teaching nurses), which would be relatively less challenging than her current position. She is willing to put all that aside, and generally take a 'step back' career wise, just to be where we want to be.

I totally understand though, that if not enough jobs are available for US citizens, then there's no way foreign nurses should be considered for positions.

Oh, and to be clear, I was not saying I agree (or disagree) with retrogression or the whole immigration thing. I was just trying to rationalize why its a lot harder now.

Good Point Angelfish! Winter Park is a lovely little town on a lake. The down town area is very nice!

It is a college town - Robbins College is there. It is a little bit like the Pepperdine of the East. - Really nice. They have a great creative writing program there, and we tried to get out daughter to consider going there.
