Big house is right, when we owned our our own biz (Pre-Schools) we had 15 passenger vans to drive children around. We were required by the state to have them inspected every 6 months by state inspectors, no choice about it! It was fine with us because we knew full well that if we let the van mantainance slip and one of our employees had a bad accident with 14 childred aboard, Well, I don't want to think about it....fortunately that never happened, it would have been the end of our biz..no doubt about it!

If Mrs Tommy is worried about "Close Calls" well there is a lesser chance at airports like Punta Gorda where there is only one plane on the runway at a time vs the large airports she likes, that can have hundreds of planes operating at once. All commercial airplanes are required to have regular inspections by the FAA. The fact that commercial airline travel is so safe is testament to the fact that it's working!

The chances are much higher that you and Mrs. Tommy will be struck by lightning twice in one day and eaten by a shark in your living room, then you are to die in a plane crash at the Punta Gorda airport!!

Btw, you're so good at it, and have the time on your hands, why don't you post some articles about how dangerous the Punta Gorda airport is?

Thank you Mr Cool and Big House for explaining that whole FAA inspection thingy. I feel much better now. We will resume flying mom and pop airlines immediately. No further discussion necessary.
