There's only one good idea here. Ellie's, "stay in Rincon". All the rest...meh.

(We went from Rincon to Savannah to a camp ground to 80 miles away.) Wow, I'm getting car sick already.
And all this energy and no replies or monetary tips from OP. Bah humbug.

Apologize for taking so long to get back to the OP but was last time I was on the site.
You might call the KOA Campground and ask about the cabin prices. There are two types of cabins: one is really bare bones and one room with bunks I believe. The others are very nice completely furnished with a separate bedroom, bathroom, kithchen area and living area. It even has a TV and cookware. Back in 2008, they were renting for about $750/month which included cable TV. A very nice campground like setting with walking trails, a stocked lake with canoes, a swimming pool, laundry facilities. Everyone working and staying there are very cordial; a great place to come home to and very convenient location on Hwy 17 not far from I-95.

Thanx, Everyone, for your responses. There are 2 rv parks swest of Sav that also have cabins that are quite reasonable, under $1,000/month, but they are not furnished, of course. For that length of stay, it's most important that the electric and water are included, and there's wifi in the area. I'll just have to check back when it's closer to April. I actually like the furnished units in Hinesville, but I am reminded that I have to look for out for the crime rate and it's an hour away. Really want to stay somewhere between Rincon and Savannah.

I am amazed at the KOA Campground rates! We would consider buying an rv, but then we'll have to deal with storing it after, and that's another monthly payment.

I'd just find one once you decide where you want to stay. Pick something nearby.
