who in the world goes to Boston and Nashville for Spring Break? Hard to imagine that Tybee is more expensive than Hilton Head.

I think it might be true only because...wanting a break from Savannah in the summer, 3-4 times I drove to the HH beaches. Very favorable deals at multiple brand names hotels, beach front, at rates about $100.
For being on the beach, pool, bar, restaurant etc. I think that's a good deal.
