Maybe you could get a dog, or take a dog from rescue for the weekend. The dog walkers are abundant downtown, and dogs are like a magnet to people.

I agree! Get a dog and go to dog parks. That's another way of meeting people. Unless you are not fond of dogs.

Well, I'm glad you brought that to the table. I didn't because it was a tad off topic and a "loaded" topic that belongs in other parts of City Data forums.
