They could actually put a recreational park there if they just added garages and stop wasting space on parking spaces.

A grocery store is planned for Mosaic Town Center. As The Kroger Company is reducing new store projects, I doubt the Kroger Atlanta division will be opening a Kroger Marketplace hypermarket in Pooler for the foreseeable future.
If not Kroger, who else would it be? A Pooler friend is praying for a Target

Perhaps an organic market like Sprout's or Trader Joe's.

An article from WTOC has a youtube video with a flyover of what the project will look like when built out.

You know, they don't build garages unless absolutely warranted, generally due to lack of space. The average price per parking space in a parking garage is $10,000 / space. It's much cheaper to build a surface level lot. And, to be clear, these developers need to have a return on investment.

If you want to actually make a difference in Pooler, go to the City Council and voice your support to their proposed changes in the land development code. If approved, it will require fewer parking spaces, which means less massive parking lots.

right. build for tomorrow, not today. Save everyone $ in the long run. Some developers are in it for the long run. Some aren't. Same said for communities. Like Savannah. Then there are places looking only at the here and now. Pooler. There's plusses and minuses to both to be sure.

Pooler council moved their meetings to be during the day so regular people can't attend. And kicked all the residents off. lol. That'd be a waste of effort. At least Savannah council listens, sometimes. Like today. Target would make more sense. There is a Kroger right down the road. Then again with so many more people maybe the density warrants another grocer? Ah me personally I'd vote Trader J's! I could see it flourishing in Pooler.

That space doesn't look big enough for all that.

And anyone else catch the "RETIAL" store?

There is about 160 acres of land there. Plenty of room for all of it.

If you stand in the way of progress in Pooler you will get run over by the traffic on Pooler Parkway anyway. More red lights will be installed to solve traffic congestion.
