I am also interested in relocating to Savannah from the SF Bay Area. I've been looking at property in Ardsley Park. I'm interested in any comments about the "feel" of the neighborhood, crime, areas to focus on or avoid, walk-ability, etc. I travel a lot and need to know that I'm coming home to something safe.

A lot of people claim to be in Ardsley Park but the official boundries according to the Ardsley neighborhood association is Victory to 55th Street north and south and Bull Street to Waters east and west. Past Waters is Parkside neighborhood. South of 55th street is considered where midtown starts. North of Victory you have Baldwin Park and then the start of the Victorian District. All these other neighborhoods can be good or bad from block to block. Ardsley's is a great neighborhood with a lot of character.
