Attached: it is the version the organization currently uses. Probably it has been around for some some years, but no one has manual. Pretty much any employees need to figure out on his/her own.
It is easy to set up some simple queries, but I feel I still need manual to set up some complicated queries. I have searched a lot, but could not find anything (close to the version).
Found this. Is it the same software? Maybe not. Looked again and the heading says Server not Designer.

Hyperion v8.5 is no longer on Premier or Extended Support, therefore its docs are no longer available on-line. You will need to contact Oracle Tech Support and request them.
By the way, what OS version are you running this on? Is it one supported by the v8.5 release (ie, Windows 2000, 2003 or XP)? That old of a release is KNOWN to NOT work on Vista or Win 7.
Also, by default, SQL Server 2005 disables TCP/IP connections to the database. Ensure that the TCP/IP connections are enabled.
Bought by Oracle in 2007. Have you asked Oracle if they can provide one?
