Has anyone done Septic tank retrofit with WIFI capability ?
I have a septic tank with sump pump and buried wiring, built int he 90's.
I want to add wifi-based monitoring, so I can detect:
1. septic alarm to phone alert, when the level is too high due to pump failure.
2. log events when the pump was running,
3. Retain the original manual alarm too, so we can use it in case no phone or app is around.
I found products on Amazon:
- sump spy: not good for hardwired outdoor installations. Otherwise the monitoring capability is good.
- wifi capable monitor: requires ripping up all my underground wiring.
I need something that can be installed in an existing box that I already have outdoors for the septic system.
