How about a day trip to Mount Baker? That's a cool thing in my mind.
How long would it take to drive to Mount St. Helens? Of all the things I have ever done, visiting there was one of the most memorable experiences.

What about the bike path along the Sammamish to Marymore Park. The weather forecast for Thursday and Friday looks ok.

Sky High Sports in Bellevue was full of kids of all ages (including theirs) yesterday. It's best to reserve a spot online.

Sky High Sports

If they are not from this area, a ferry ride to Bainbridge is a fun way to spend an afternoon. They have some good restaurants over there.

You could do a tour at Theo Chocolate Welcome to Theo Chocolate

A day trip to La Conner and Anacortes to see the Tulip Festival. It's beautiful up there.

Shopping at Bellevue Square, U Village, or the outlets in Marysville. Those are all fairly safe malls if you want to let them be alone for a day.
