Was thinking of coming out for a few weeks to see the area and scout things out before moving (permanently) to the area. I am on a bit of a budget and wanted something that had a kitchenette, etc. so I was looking at the Extended Stay hotel on 83rd in Kent and the Crossland Economy Studio's on Pacific Hwy S. in Kent. Can anyone tell me about the area these particular hotels are located in and if one would be "better" than the other to stay at? Or are there any other suggestions for a decent and "safe" extended stay type setup that might be better? Thanks in advance for your help!

Anyone? I need to book my stay sooner than later and would love to know if these areas are going to be "safe" for my husband and I to stay in and if one area is better/worse than the other. Again, thanks so much in advance!

Generally speaking, the one on 83rd is going to be safer and quieter than the one on Pacific Highway.

Thanks nfdsouza2001 I'll definitely check that out as well. As a side note I'm also looking in Lynnwood and Bothell as possible locations to stay in while I'm there. Any info at all is much appreciated. TIA!
