Any LPN to RN programs that anyone would recommend in the greater Seattle/Tacoma area??

I'm retired military, just offered a job at the Seattle VA as LPN for $21 hr base, but I'm set to start an LPN to RN program in TN summer 2012. Currently an LPN here at $16.50 hr base.

I have a BA in History, prereq of A&P I,II, prob & stats, Intro to Microbiology are done.

Any thoughts on programs there or should I just stay in TN for the next 2 years and finish up the RN program prior to moving??

I was last stationed in downtown Seattle and commuted from Kitsap County to Seattle, and I'd need to decide about living in Seattle or doing the commute again.

Thanks for any input.

Tony

All Nursing Schools - A Complete Directory of U.S. Nursing Programs and Your #1 Resource for Nursing Programs Admissions Info

GREAT site for sorting out programs and matching them to your needs. That said, you can go LPN to RN many ways, in many schools here, esp the community colleges, which have bridge programs. I would say, however, don't stop til you get a BSN. That is the best way to go! Good luck.
