I've lived in Chicago, Lafayette, IN, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Seattle, and for three months on business Phoenix.

All I will say is barring Chicago, Seattle is the best city of the lot. You don't get the boredom and sports focus like you do in St. Louis. You don't get the heat and idiocy of Phoenix, though the women there are much more attractive in my opinion. Cincinnati would potentially be OK, simply because I do not feel I explored enough of the city, and I have friends there.

Seattle has culture if you want it, neighborhood feel, excellent beer, wine, and coffee, you aren't marauded by sports fans (except every weekend during football season, but most of those guys are from the south like Tacoma), the weather in summer and late spring is unbeatable, there's a party every weekend in summer in Seattle Center, and people here value primary education over football. They do in Chicago too, but alas no jobs in what I do there.

Most people hate the weather but I don't. I'm used to grey skies in winter. If anything winter here is better than Chicago or St. Louis because you don't get the biting chill or the heavy snowfall (relative term).

Of course everyone has their thing. Just a matter of perspective I guess.

I lived there for 10 months and I don't miss it at all. I had fun and met some good people but I thank God every day for getting me the hell out of there.

I've lived in a few different parts of the country and I like everywhere better than Seattle.

I moved from Sacramento CA to Cary North Carolina. I actually love it here. Probably because there are a lot of Californians living ere so I didn't get hit with the culture shock. I was stationed in Texas (Fort Hood) and know it well. One things fo sho' youz got the best BBQ in the USA!

I do miss Seattle as well. I miss the free spirits, awesome food, decent night life, peace, quiet, interracial couples of all kinds, and my Microsoft pay check.

This wasn't trolling, just stating an opinion. Way to be hypocritical, toughguy.
