I am coming to Seattle for a few days next week for the first time with the family and am staying in Tukwila at the Best Western. Reviews are pretty good and price is right. Any issues I should be concerned about staying in this area or is it cheaper to stay here for a reason. I will have a car and plan on traveling in the Seattle area while we are there. It is on West Valley Highway.

It's a perfectly ok area ... other hotels in the region. The Southcenter shopping mall is nearby. Definitely NOT a walkable area - a very busy road.

FYI, the train station is right behind the hotel. The heavy rail, commuter train that could take you into DT Seattle (therefore avoiding the hassle of parking and other traffic issues). It runs on a limited schedule, so check it out and see if you can use it. Or if you don't want to be too dependent on the train schedule and want to go back to your hotel anytime... you can take bus #150 (Metro Route 150 Timetable, Weekday ) which pretty much runs almost all day. The bus stop is not at all a far walk from the hotel (Fort Dent way and Interurban Ave S).
