Lots of opportunities for rainbows. And if you're lucky... Double rainbows. One cool pic set of rainbows over DT Seattle:

I saw this double rainbow Tuesday. It was amazing. I saw another one a few minutes later in another location. Also saw a fabulous rainbow Sunday after the freak hail storm.

Can't wait! I love rainbows. I also saw my first shooting star in Washington. You can't imagine how crazy amazing that is to a city mouse. :-)

Rainbows?? Have you ever lived anywhere outside the PNW? Lots of other parts of the USA get frequent rainbows.

I also saw a rainbow on my trip to Seattle, just this past week. I was near the University of Washington. Tuesday, I believe, as someone else mentioned.

Will always remember that.

As someone said, other parts of the nation get rainbows also, not just Seattle, but they're quite rare in Boston. -- maybe more common in Seattle with the rain? I recall spotting one when on a treadmill at a health club years ago near Fenway Park; they even sell a jigsaw puzzle of a rainbow over a Red Sox game at Fenway.

It's common for some of us to remember most of them, as they're so rare...

I have no idea if they're more common in Seattle, but I know more than several transplants who remarked that they've never seen as many rainbows anywhere else. Though I am bummed about it being rare in Boston, one of my dream locations-- I would love to live there.
