I have found an apartment that may work for me...I'm just not familiar with the Eastlake neighborhood. Can anyone tell me anything about it? Is it kinda urban? Close to urban places if not? I'm a young professional and would like to live in an area where there are other young professionals. If anyone could paint a picture for me, I would REALLY apriciate it. My decision sort of has to be time sensitive....

sounds like you are getting some good vibes already. eastlake is heavy phillipino which i like. modern new and has some mega churches in the area which i also like.it also has wild turkeys yes a true story. my hunter friends told me about them. soem folks consider them pests but i like em.

Definitely urban. It's a well established older Seattle neighborhood that is very convenient to both downtown and the University district. It has very good bus service. It has lots of singles, lots of DINKS, and tends to be younger and more professional (white collar).

Here's some demographics from the City of Seattle website:

I don't have any idea about the wild turkeys or mega-churches.
