We are relocating back to the Eastside and our furniture will take six weeks to ship. We have a rental but it is unfurnished. Can you recommend a place that rents temporary furniture week to week or month to month on the Eastside?

I can't help with the furniture thing, but may I ask how you found and secured a rental? Did you travel to the area and apply in person, or were you able to secure something from a distance?
We're moving up in three weeks, and have not found a place yet, which is a bit stressful. We've done it before, but it adds a lot of extra pressure to the move.

We flew in for 5 days for a job interview and rentals were very hard to find. We saw a number that were very overpriced and horrendous (had never been updated and one was a virtual teardown but they were asking $$$). We actually gave up on our final day and were resigned to temporary accommodation when something came on late afternoon, we called and saw it that night. We just signed the papers and there is a waitlist of people if we pull out. The inventory for renting or buying is horrible right now. Hate to be negative but that was our experience, however we needed space as we have kids. A smaller family or a couple might find it easier. Wishing you good luck out there!
