I am in thinking about buying Lennar home in lynnwood area. It seems like they are building lots of new communities in seattle area. Everett, lynnwood, federal way and bothell... etc

Does anyone have bought Lennar home around seattle? How was working with them in order to buy a house and how about their home's quality?

I looked them up. They're not top quality. They're a national builder that may or may not be able to build in this climate, area topography. I'd go with a seasoned local builder given a choice.

Sorry not to answer your original question, but my gut says buying a town home or duplex in Lynnwood is not a good investment. Too much undeveloped land, not much neighborhood, and when you go to sell some other builder will be putting up brand new houses nearby.

never heard of this company but there are lots of other new home builders here, such as mainvue, dr horton, polygon northwest, quadrant, etc. Quadrant homes used to be in the low end, but they have been in the northwest for quite a while so they have experience.

I would at least buy a new home that is not a townhome, and other houses better be more than 12 feet apart or more. many of the new homes i see are 10 feet of less of each other, there is just no privacy

a friend of mines is also looking at new homes, you know, no one died there, made love there, or smoked there before. everything is about money. the lower the price, the lower the quality, every single way you measure it.

The new builders you listed are all producing low cost homes, mostly because they build where land is cheap. Cheap location and low quality houses correlate, but you can buy a good quailty house on a cheap piece of land.

We are looking at a Lennar home around the Seattle area. I was wondering, did you buy and if so, what do you think?
