Wow, I never saw it go from totally clear to 2-3" in such a short time, was driving home and it started by the Sammamish City Hall about half hour ago, immediately sticking. Now nasty roads, be careful out there. I think I'll telecommute tomorrow.

Maybe, after it freezes overnight. Several streets here are littered with cars stuck or that crashed.

Same.

I'm on one of the few streets running parallel to Park Dr. and there are three stuck cars and two others that had a minor collision.

Wondering what the school districts will do though... I brought home a sick kiddo from school early.. not likely to make it in tomorrow morning and I'm kinda hoping it's cancelled.

Today was a disaster getting from downtown Seattle to Northgate at 4pm. The 41 bus never came after waiting at westlake station for 45 minutes. Instead i had to take the 40 bus through Ballard to Northgate and it took me 2 hours to get home.

What will be going on tomorrow which is Tuesday interms of snow and bus schedules? Should i cancel my appointments?? I dont want to be stuck in the snow.

That overturned tanker messed up everything, I ended up driving through Ballard, up Market to 45th and 520 at Montlake, and hour and 20 minutes home, and that was before the snow. Here this morning the roads are wet and some slush, but passable. Just saw the forecast, maybe another inch of wet snow before it warms up.
I would guess that you will be OK, but you should sign up for Metro/Sound bus alerts for your phone. Luckily I decided to drive yesterday in case I wanted to leave early due to the snow.

Climate change may be a brief interlude. But reading here shows in hilly cities, frozen precipitation can be a pain in the kiester.

I work in Georgetown and a colleague lives in Ballard, said he'd never seen that much fall that quick. I'm in White Center and usually see more at the top of the hills then I do down below. We got a dusting at home. He said it lightened once he got to SODO.
