Hi. Could you please tell us what an "IB" school is and what an "AP" school is? Thank you.

AP is Advanced Placement.

IB is International Baccalaureate.

I think that the only IB school is in Bellevue. I could be wrong. It's definitely a good school, but I think you will still have a top notch education via AP classes within the Lake Washington School district. I particularly like the feeder pattern of the schools on Education Hill, in Redmond.

Thanks, Jenbar, for the explans.

Ong, look at this! I.B. Association of Bellevue (broken link)
Interlake High School in Bellevue has IB and AP programs. The website for that school district is: High Schools : SCHOOLS : Bellevue School District Just click on "Interlake".

I can't find schools for Ed Hill. On the "Schools" page of the Lake Washington School District, the left column has links for each school by name. Jenbar, could you help this parent by letting her/him know what link(s) you mean? Here's the LWSD website:
Schools Home Page - Lake Washington School District

Thanks Jenbar and allforcats.

will look at Interlake High School and Lake Washington School District.
I can't find schools for Ed Hill too.

I think Interlake High School is the only IB school in Bellevue.

Some friends have suggested private school ? Is private school better than public school ?
