Picking up family on Wednesday at the airport last year, it was pretty backed up. Remember, if the line is longer at arrivals than departures, go to departures and tell the person you are picking up to take the escalator up. Same the other way. Locals know this but visitors don't always.

It is sometimes difficult to recognize "trolls" on here. But thanks for your post.

To the original thread: Sea-Tac is a thriving airport and yes, there will be delays over any holiday weekend, as most major airports will experience. I wish there was a better way to deal with it, but as of today, you just need to do the usual holiday exercise...arrive early, be prepared with all your documents, and carry-on's that meet the requirements.

Seattle's biggest airline is Alaska. Here are their requirements:
