What is best way to get from First Hill (Swedish Hospital/Seattle University) to SEA-TAC airport (and back) by:

1. public transportation (please be specific about locations and cost and time; provide weblinks)

and

2. if I drive (seems 15-20min if little traffic) and do long-term parking (for 3-4 days), any specific recommended lots (I'm seeing some <$10/day which seems not too bad)

Thanks in advance.

Use the Metro trip planner with your specific location and times that you need to be at airport:
Metro's Online Trip Planner

You will have several options, all including a single bus to Link transfer at one of the many stations. This is very, very easy and very cheap, $2-3 total, and it takes less than an hour.

I have stopped catching rides to/from the airport since it is so easy and cheap to take the Link, even with kids and luggage in tow. I find it far less stressful, too, since it eliminates the worry of traffic.

Basically, depending exactly where on First Hill, catch the Metro bus #9 or 60 to the Mt Baker or Beacon Hill LINK light rail station, and the train to the airport, or the #2, 3, or 4 bus to the University or Westlake station, and then the train to the airport.
