This sunday november 19 th im flying from Seattle to Burbank,California to visit my parents. My southwest flight takes off from sea tac at 2.20pm on sunday. What time should i arrive at Sea tac airport with a piece of checked luggage. Should i arrive at sea tac at 11.20am or 12.20pm??

On a Sunday if i take the 41 bus from northgate to the westlake station light rail how long will it take on a Sunday???

Usually when i vist my parents i dont fly out of sea tac on sundays let alone on major holidays.

I hope my southwest flight from seattle to oakland leaves ontime because i have a connecting flight from oakland to burbank.

I have never found Southwest to run late, never missed a connecting flight...but allow plenty of time to get from your home to SeaTac.

I agree with the others. Two hours is fine. If you're worried though you can always show up earlier. My mom, for example, always leaves earlier than needed.

I'd honor that conservative estimate on the prime travel day before major holidays. Always served me well, various airports.

Took a gamble of traveling to Vegas actually "on" Thanksgiving Day four years ago from SeaTac, and it was a breeze. Weird. Then again, I love 6am flights.

TSA Pre could shave off 20 min or more, best case. That's happened to me past few years a couple times, especially internationally (Global Entry). Last couple flights, May-current, I've not been ticketed TSA Pre thus dealing with the BS all the rest of the people have to deal with. Reminds me of what a pile of suck it is (not awful, just a drag). Any available program to lower that pain, I'll take, regardless of how far the government needs to shine a light up the yin-yang to ensure I qualify.

If you are the type of person who stresses a little about it, give yourself an extra hour from the 2hr norm. It's getting through TSA that can be a pain around Thanksgiving.

Call Southwest and ask them if all four of your flights originate in the cities you've mentioned to minimize the probability of flight delays torpedoing your itinerary.
