Hi Dearo, I have a good Romanian buddy named Contstantin who escaped Ceacescu by traveling 4 nights with dogs chasing him and jumping the fence to Serbia (then Yugoslavia). Private message me and I can connect you with him. He knows a number of other Romanians in this area. Also, I went to a great Balkan Festival this spring in the Montlake area of Seattle, there were many people from all of the Balkans, great music, good, dancing and yes, drinking

YES! There are Romanians in and around Seattle. You can find some of them in the new,
beautiful!!!! Romanian Orthodox Church in north Seattle. If you need an address, I can provide it. Some of the younger ones have formed a folk orchestra. THey're quite good, I hear. De unde veniți din Româniă?
