Yes, that is it.

It is a few bucks cheaper than other places.

There is something wrong with a place where you have to sit in front of a light, and take multiple supplements to function.

That's exactly what I told my husband...it's a powerful statement that has helped with our move (now scheduled Jan 09)

Maybe its wrong to live in a place where you have to have a box that consumes large amounts of electricity just to make the air colder.

The key is finding a outdoor hobby that will help you deal with it. I've lived on the west side of WA for 12 years now. I've never felt depressed during the grey months. Then again, I don't just sit in the house letting the weather dictate how I feel.

Forget special lights, meds or supplements. A good jacket, some boots and a willingness to use them are all it takes.

Thisis an easy solution for soeone who can tolerate the weather.

Before I moved here I was an avid biker, a weekend hiker...

I've since stopped all activity. (Okay that's an exaggeration), But I haven't hopped on my bike in at least 3 years...and hiking only happens in July or August. The cold air is like a weight on my chest. The drizzle keeps me inside 24/7. I have gotten 2 or 3 sinus infections from this moisture and been sent to the ER.

And yes I did try biking and hiking here...it's not want I'm used to or the cliimate I like to be outdoors.

My new hobby is Happy Hour, where I spend time with friends while letting the alcohol keep me warm.
