After visiting Seattle for a weekend and trying out all the recommendations I crowdsourced I wanted to give back by showing what I did and hopefully it could serve useful for anyone else visiting the city. Essentially recommend staying in Cap Hill and provide many tips of places to eat and grab coffee, best vistas for skyline views and finally how to learn about the history of the city.

Let me know what you guys think.

I would add:
Victoria and SBReserve are very close to one another (Pike).
A seafood house ($$$$) and McMenamins Six Arms Pub ($$)(all beers and ales are from their own brewhouses, many) are just off Pike and within 100yds the Reserve.
Above, 5-6 short blocks below the main "drag", Broadway which has the street car.
Not a bad tourist guide.

Avoid DoughZone ($$) (Pine & 8th) after normal meal hours- food maybe be cold and stale. Its located just 3 blocks down and over 1, from the Reserve. The DoughZone Chinatown, will have more ethnic Chinese clients.

Also walking down Pike, is whole lot better than walking up but I am senior with vertigo.
YTMV

Every western style restaurant has their own version of clam chowder, cream based.

Cool, it sounds like you really enjoyed yourself and learned some thing about Seattle. I hope you will return one day. Seattle in 10 years will be really different. Downtown will have changed a lot and our light rail system will have grown in size by something like 40 miles. And the (currently under construction) waterfront will be the city's crown jewel!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts w/ us
