Looks like we are in for some very hot, (by Seattle standards) weather over the next few days. Highs are expected to be in the mid 80's to mid 90's depending on location.

Personally, I don't know about great... but as long as it does not last longer than a couple days I won't complain. Hopefully it will be our last heat wave of the season!

Default Just now?

I've been seeing ladies in summer dresses since June... where have you been?

A couple of days of hot is fine... but I prefer the cloudy AM, sunny PM in the mid-upper 70's.

If your heart is indeed in *ahem* Sacramento, then I suppose you would indeed require 90+ degrees to actually get your legs out of jeans.

I just hope my house cools down somewhat at night. I hate nights that don't get below 60 degrees.

Blah, I'd rather have the rain than any temperature over 80 degrees. Looks like I'll be spending hours in my car while my son naps, since it will be unbearable in our townhouse. Joy.

Ever wish you could live in L.A. County? Well, you will get a taste of L.A. living this weekend when our air is rendered unfit for breathing by blistering heat and pollution! California Dreaming!!!

Looks like we may have a smog alert in the next day or two, not only that, we are on the verge of violating federal smog standards for the first time since 1992.

seattlepi.com|As mercury rises, so does pollution (http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/374936_ozone14.html - broken link):

"The Puget Sound region is on the verge of violating a federal smog standard and going officially into the dirty-air category for the first time since 1992."

I don't know about anybody else, but I'd much rather have a few days of cool, cloudy weather, than a few days of hot, smoggy weather.
