3 killed, 5 injured in string of Seattle shootings
https://www.kiro7.com/news/local/lea...KUFCYH7JWINPM/

The police chief blames it on guns.

He seems to be either totally oblivious to the gang warfare going on, or totally committed to covering it up.

Reminds me of J Edgar Hoover(head of the FBI, for you youngsters) back in the day, denying there was any such thing as the Mafia or organized crime.

Lord have mercy on us all.

How would the victims have gunshot wounds if bows and arrows were being used?

Isn’t gun shot injury up around the country? Since Covid?

Maybe it’s gangs but why the uptick? Gangs have been around a long time…

I was being sarcastic. Clearly guns were used. If there were no guns, then those people would probably still be alive. How then is he wrong to blame guns for the deaths? Even if they were committed by gangs, the guns were the instruments. If it takes arrests of gang members to remove the guns, then so be it.

It was to be expected. The Pandemic hurt the gangs' revenues and they're now fighting over turf, even more than usual.

Not fair to talk about Texas without mentioning Illinois's 109 incidents. Texas had 63.

I guess Texans aim better...

Kind of funny to hear crickets from the SCC, but I suppose that's to be expected. I never agreed with the whole police defunding initiative, and thought it was an insidious meme that would come back to bite the Dems. So it goes.
