What is it like? What is there to do within?

Specifically what kind of area is the lightrail station in?

Personally I kind of like Georgetown because I like business, and Georgetown is all about business. Residential is on the side. But you have a lot of pollution. First is noise pollution from all the airplanes nearby, and trains. Next is air pollution from the freeway, the arterials, etc. There are not many trees, the air is pretty heavy with whatever is belched from all directions. There is talk of a new garbage dump there too. As far as beauty, I do like to see a beautiful woman walking by. You won't find that in Georgetown. It seems there are no beautiful women there, just tatooed heavies with a good heart. If these are things that matter to you, go for it.

Georgetown does not have a light rail station. The SODO station is not too far, nor the Beacon Hill station.
...Georgetown is artsy, funky, full of cool old buildings, enough places to eat and drink. It's a neighborhood with heart, and is changing. The old Seattle Brewing and malting building is being converted to condos...But yes, Georgetown can be noisy and industrial..There are houses and apartments in Georgetown, and some of them are quite nice. People live in Georgetown and like it. It's really a unique Seattle neighborhood with character ( and characters). I like it.

I've discovered this neighborhood recently.

There is a brand new soccer field near the freeway, and there's a Japanese place and a pizza & beer place that makes good pizza. I'm from Chicago and you know Chicagoans have to stretch to compliment any pizza outside of Chicago.

There's also a cool cafe which is completlely hidden from Albro st. exit before the coffee shack.

The neighborhood seems dodgy but there are really cool areas nearby too. Very close is South Park, the light industrial areas, and there's sketchy little motels all around Marginal Way, near Boeing, so those attract all sorts of characters.

As for good looking women, I saw a couple working at Stellar pizza & brew today. They both had tatoos though so you have to be OK with that. They are there, just keep an eye out for them.
