We are interested in moving to the Pacific Northwest. My husband will most likely work inside Seattle and is really concerned about commutes. Where are some towns/cities that would have a commute under an hour to downtown Seattle?

If you live in certain parts of Seattle, your commute will be less than an hour.

If you know what part of Seattle you'll be driving to that will make a difference.

Under an hour commutes to downtown Seattle from towns/cities outside the Seattle city limits include:

Burien, Tukwila, Renton, Kent(parts), Mercer Island, Newastle, Bellevue, Issaquah(parts) Kirkland, Bothell, Kenmore, Shoreline, Edmonds, Redmond( parts and depending on time of day), Lake Forest Park, and probably a few others.
Then there are all kinds of neighborhoods within the city of Seattle less than an hour to downtown, but just because something has a Seattle address doesn't mean it's closer/quicker than a place without a Seattle address. For example, if you live west of the Broadview area of Seattle, it's going to take a while to commute to downtown, but Mercer Island is a very quick commute to downtown.
